Letters can be made with many materials and designs. Almost any design or letter style can be used for individually cut graphics. Letters and logos can be cut out of plastic, wood, metals, PVC, MDF, Styrofoam with laminates. These letters are known as flat cut out letters. Letters can also be 3-dimensional (known as Channel letters) and illuminated (as seen in these photos). These letters have plastic faces and are illuminated internally, more often than not, with neon. When these channel letters are not illuminated, they can still have a plastic face or they can be reversed (Reverse Channel letters). Material for these letters are typically steel, aluminum or stainless steel. Other specialty letters are available: plastic molded (3 dimensional) letter, solid brass and aluminum letters made through casting or cutting, cast bronze plaques, and more. Installation will require pin mounts and/or glue.
